A 44-year-old Clarksville man has been charged with domestic violence and aggravated assault, according to the Leaf-Chronicle.
Law enforcement officials say the man repeatedly tried to stab a 14-year-old boy. The man is also accused of punching another boy.
The Saturday night incident reportedly happened around 11, police said.
According to the police report, the boy had a small mark on his leg; a cut or scratch that didn't bleed or require medical attention.
The man who lives on Barkwood Drive was, according to police, angry with the 14-year-old for watching television at excessive volume.
The boys claim that before the man tried to stab the 14-year-old, he punched the other boy -- whose age wasn't disclosed in the newspaper -- in the face.
In an unrelated incident, law enforcement officials announced the arrest in Texas of a Clarksville man who is a suspect in a Jan. 30 Hopkinsville, Kentucky, robbery.
The 26-year-old was arrested on a first-degree robbery charge near San Antonio, according to a statement from the Hopkinsville police.
The suspect reportedly escaped arrest at Midtown Inn on Kraft Street on the day after the robbery.
As you probably recall, the robbery ended in a shootout with police on Interstate 24 in Oak Grove.
He's the third person arrested in the case.
The Clarksville Police Department said it is still searching for a fourth suspect; a 23-year-old man.
Anyone facing serious charges such as armed robbery or aggravated assault should politely, firmly decline to speak with either police officers or prosecutors before discussing the allegations and available legal options with an experienced criminal defense attorney.
